What is the maximum capacity for each tour?
The current maximum capacity allowed by the Singapore Government is 20 pax. However, we will be capping our tours at 15 pax to make sure we can attend to everyone closely and maintain a more personal and intimate experience throughout the tour.
What are some of your safety measures?
Temperature screening is conducted onsite for all staff members and travellers prior to the tour commencement. An audio guide system is also used to ensure that the guide can be heard even while social distancing. All audio guide systems are also disinfected prior to the tours.
What type of tours are available?
We have a variety of tours to cater to different interests, mainly classified under these few genres:

Are your tours wheelchair friendly?
Most of our tours are walking tours and will not be wheelchair friendly, unless otherwise stated in the tour description.
Are your tours stroller friendly?
Most of our tours are walking tours and may involve some climbing of stairs, small slopes and tight walkways (especially along shophouses) and we will not recommend the use of a stroller. However, if you need to bring one, our staff will be glad to assist on the ground - just let us know in advance! ;)

Who are the tours suitable for?
Everyone is absolutely welcome to join our tours, although we think inter-generational groups (e.g. parent-child or grandparents-grandchildren) add more dimensions in the storytelling and makes the shared experience a lot more interesting!
At Persp8ctives, we believe it’s important to tell and re-tell the stories of the past generations so that we can preserve and continue to share them with the younger generations.
What is included in each tour?
All our tours include a English-speaking guide and the use of a audio guide system. Additional inclusions will differ by tour. For more details, please refer to the inclusions on the individual tour pages.
Who is the tour run or conducted by?
All tours are operated by our parent company, 8th Wave Pte Ltd. We also work closely with our guides, so that they are able to convey our Persp8ctives ethos effectively.
How do I get the most out of the tours?
Pre-tour: As our tours are designed to be insightful and thought-provoking, we try not to merely repeat historical facts as much as possible. Instead, we break the content down into bite-sized pieces of information and share them across our our social media platforms (Instagram & Facebook), while more in-depth information will be posted on our blog as articles. These should give you more context and act as supporting materials to prep you before the tour.
During the tour: Wear comfy clothes, keep an open mind, and most importantly, have fun!
Post-tour: Share with us your own perspective on tour - either through photos, videos, reviews or feedback. Don't forget to tag us @persp8ctives as well, so that we able to share them with others! We look forward to building a close-knit community with our participants, ultimately preserving the stories of the past through thought-provoking discussions and by sharing each other's perspectives.
Will I be able to receive a full refund if I cancel in advance?
All tours tickets are non-refundable and no cancellation is allowed. However, in the cases of severe wet weather or lack of travellers required for the tours to proceed, we will contact you to schedule and alternative date.

Will tours be operational in all weather?
For most tours, they will be operational in all weather conditions except in heavy storms. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions of each tour on their individual pages.
